Common Qs and As:

  • If I seek help from a psychologist, there must be something wrong with me. I feel ashamed, inadequate and judged

I understand. Many people initially feel this way. Seeking support is a brave and proactive step towards improving your well-being, and it doesn't diminish your worth or strength as a person. Asking for help is one of the most beneficial actions you can take.

  • How do I know if seeing a psychologist is right for me, and what if it doesn't work?"

I get it. It's natural to feel uncertain and worry about the outcome. If my website resonates with you and you've considered seeking a psychologist, it may be beneficial. Psychology is supported by research and psychologists aim to collaboratively meet your needs in every session. If you are interested, but feeling uncertain, send me an email  (admin@stephanie.fletcher.com.au) A conversation can offer clarity.  good person and worthy of love

  • Sessions are expensive!

I know. Psychology sessions are a financial consideration.

However, if you were to maintain your current stae, what impact might it have on you in the next 12 months or even 3 to 5 years?

We know that struggling with mental health challenges can influence relationships, work and life goals. Most significantly, it effects our well-being. Investing in your mental health can lead to short and long-term benefits, making it a worthwhile expenditure.

Additionally, did you know that you can visit your GP for a Mental Health Care Plan and receive Medicare rebates for 6 ā€“ 10 sessions?
